Christen Scharbauer Steen, Broker and Owner of TX Real Estate People, has been in the real estate game since graduating from Texas A&M in 2002, and was the leading sales agent for her previous broker for ten years. Her work (including her stunning office) is testament not only to her impeccable taste, but also to her strong passion for design. She has a degree in Architectural Design, which is incredibly advantageous in her relationship with clients. Having primarily sold residential real estate in Central Texas, she has also sold warehouse space, commercial office space and tracts of land. Christen is a fifth generation Texan, hailing from a prestigious horse and ranch family in West Texas that has been here since the 1800’s; her passion for ranches and horses is evident in her work. The broker also loves to give back to the community, as an annual donor to the YMCA and other organizations. Moreover, she has been involved in youth activities, having served as a director of Rocky River Ranch, an all-girls camp in Wimberley, for three years. She is happily married to Chef Steven Steen (ATX-Foods.com) and they live in Wimberley with their two children, Stone and Connlly. The couple runs cattle and has two dogs.
